Art Campaign with Simon Berger
The Challenge
Glenfiddich needed a campaign film that could elevate a limited artistic collaboration into a compelling story—one that would add emotional and perceived value to an auction. The project centered on Simon Berger, an artist known for hammering portraits into glass, and his creation of custom glass boxes designed to house Glenfiddich bottles—each box featuring artwork on the glass itself. The film had to bridge luxury spirits, contemporary art, and craftsmanship, while landing with clarity and impact for an auction audience.
Our Approach
We treated the film like a craft-led portrait: minimal, precise, and tactile. The creative focus was on process and transformation—capturing the tension and rhythm of Simon Berger’s hammer technique, the micro-details of impact marks, and the reveal of a portrait emerging from controlled force.
Alongside the making, we framed the final pieces as collectible objects—lighting the glass boxes and bottle presentation in a way that feels exclusive and museum-like. The result is a film built to create desire and confidence: not just “a bottle,” but a story, an artwork, and a one-of-one auction moment.
